In the current version of the program, to replace an existing element with another one the user has to delete the old element, select a new one from the libraries and insert it on the drawing. These operations could be substituted with a single function, to be located in the “Element properties” dialog. After selecting “Change element”, a selection dialog box would appear listing the elements that belong to the same group as the selected one. Once the new element is selected and defined, it will replace the old one. The time of implementation for this function depends on the user demand.

There is no difference in drawing display between ducts and insulated ducts in the current version of Ventpack. There are two possibilities for insulated duct representation: the first is to hatch these ducts, and the second is to draw parallel dashed lines inside or outside the duct wall lines. The final solution depends on which option will be preferred by our users.
